My Most Favorite Holiday

Christmas and Thanksgiving are America’s perennially favorite holidays. Personally, these two holidays are close to my heart, but what really captivates me and lets me enjoy myself is when I have a Rocky Point holiday. Up to now, I can never forget my annual spring holiday in Puerto Penasco. I usually go the place a week right after my final exams were due.

I have my own favorites in Rocky Point. And these places, to these days, stick greatly in my heart. I always love to hang out and eat in their local restaurants. My mouth really waters whenever I recall myself eating tacos or enchiladas along the street for they make me want more of it!

Puerto Penasco really lets met reminisce a lot of my past. And now that I have my family, I never fail to bring them to Rocky Point ant to have our annual spring break. We stay at the same hotel where I stayed ten years ago. We hang out at the same places where I hanged out a decade past. I still enjoy the very simple existence that I had for many years now.

To sum them all, a vacation in Puerto Penasco allows me to become myself. A week or two there allow me to rejuvenate. Just to see the sun shines and sets inspire me; and as I and my wife watch our kids play on the seashore and pick up shells, it reminds me that the greatest source of happiness in life is to do the simplest things that we all enjoy and want.

Puerto Penasco and its New Door to Improvement

With modernity comes comfort, technology, and the easier side of life. Those are the good things, though. The bad things are losing your privacy, noise, and the inability to have the peace and serenity that you long for. This is the case for most of the vacation havens that were once considered as haven for rest and relaxation. Come modern technology and all is lost. However, they say that in every law, there will always be an exemption. And here, the exemption is Puerto Penasco.

A few months ago, a new improvement came to Rocky Point. Mid-December last year, the new coastal highway was inaugurated. This means a lot to Rocky Point for it brought the city closer to the people who want to come here.

With the opening of the new highway, neighboring towns were made more accessible and closer to the place. The town of Yuma, once an eternity away from Puerto Penasco Mexico, is now only 2.5 hours away. Likewise, El Centro, near San Diego, California, is now only 3.5 hours away from Rocky Point.

A lot of people who were the first to passed along the newly opened highway were very astounded. Those who tested it out found it to be very fantastic as the road was smooth and wide and few stops were made available to those who want to refresh. Indeed, the opening of the highway enabled a lot of people to get to Rocky Point, especially those travelers coming from Southern California.

Flowers 2009 - Capiznon Bloggers Message

Some flowers grow best in the sun; Others do well in the shade. God plants us where we grow best and gives us loved ones to grow with.

The sweetest fragrance often flows, from those who feel life’s pain…
They firmly trust in God’s great love and in that they remain…

The fruit of stillness is prayer;
The fruit of prayer is faith;
The fruit of faith is love;
The fruit of love is service;
And the fruit of service is peace.

The best minister is the human heart...
The best teacher is time…
The best book is the world…
The best friend is God…
Masters provide your slaves with what is right and fair because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.

In life words and hearts should be handled with care for words when spoken and hearts when broken are the hardest things to repair.

But rather differences to help each other grow;
